Welcome to Iris Insights Counselling
My approach is compassionate, integrative and mindful.
Each story is different but equally important, so I am a true believer in the idea that most of us could benefit from the counselling process. We take care of the body to nourish or train it, we care for the mind to educate or feed it with knowledge, and we should also care for the soul to create space for self-care and foster authentic connections.
I have been on both sides of the fence, first as a kneeled human being when life threw too much at me and now as a humble professional who knows the power of therapy and is ready to embark on a journey to help other fellow humans.
I’m looking forward to working with you and I am grateful that you are allowing me to walk the walk next to you!

The Meaning of Iris
Iris was a mythological messenger who traveled to gather water from the River Styx, the boundary between Earth and the Underworld – in Jungian and modern psychological understanding, between the conscious and the unconscious mind – meaning that one must confront the unconscious demons in order to bring forth new or renewed life.
Psychologically, the iris flower, with its show of many colours within the blossom symbolizes the transcendent self in which the many facets of the personality, once opposing each other, are brought into a unity.
